Ceremonial Breathwork

Ceremonial Breathwork is a group breath session created around community healing and the practice of sacred ceremonies and rituals from our ancient lineages. The BREATH is the medicine. It is a unique experience and allows for deep gentle healing of your body, mind, and soul.

Your facilitator of the breath Melissa will begin with a welcome and share setting the intent for the session. You will then be taught the breath practice and will lie down to breathe. Melissa incorporates Shamanic elements including the opening of Sacred Space, the singing of “Icaro” (song of blessing), the burning of Palos Santos, and the Anointing of scared oils allowing for a connection to your breath, nature, the spirit world, and universal Oneness. Because of these elements, it is a unique experience not to be missed. At the end of the session, there will be a 15-30 minute integration where you may share your experience and allow for grounding if needed.

Ceremonial Breathwork is a journey to “remember” who you are and will support you in achieving a greater sense of self-awareness. You will learn the “tool” of the breath and self-healing. Some say it is 10 years of therapy in one session!

No experience with breathwork or meditation is necessary!

The gentle pranayama methods of Ceremonial Breathwork for the most part are non-invasive and perfectly safe, almost anyone can do it with limited risk. However, breathwork is not for everyone and you should consult your doctor first if you have a history of active epileptic seizures, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, or major cardiovascular issues. If you recently have had surgery and still have stitches or other medical or physical conditions that would impair your ability to breathe deeply and lay on your back on the floor for an hour then perhaps Ceremonial Breathwork is not for you.

Vishoka Meditation is a precise set of meditative techniques that build on each other and lead the practitioner to a place free from suffering and infused with joy.  Vishoka Mediation is the authentic wisdom of ancient yogis, highly systematic and experiential. The key is uniting the mind and breath and turning them inward allowing us to heal and rejuvenate ourselves on every level of our being.

This 90-minute class will include: Gentle yoga asana (postures) Healthy Breathing training and Guided relaxation.  These are all in preparation for coming to our seat and being guided in a series of mediative techniques.  All props will be provided; however, I suggest you bring your personal mat.

This class is for everyone – beginners and experienced meditators, yogis, and non-yogis.  If you have a meditation or mindfulness practice this will deepen and refine your practice and your experience

Facial Self-Massage

Kacie began her career as a holistic esthetician 15 years ago. She has developed her passion for improving skin health with consistent training and education on skin physiology, massage techniques, product ingredients, as well as the internal factors for healthy skin.

 

This 45 Minute Class will be a hands-on approach to developing an at home facial massage regimen. It will go over Face Yoga, Lymphatic Massage, Sculptural and Lifting techniques.
